Showing Art at LymeMIND Conference for Second Year

For those who know me, you probably know I have been involved in advocating for victims of Lyme Disease for many years. I have suffered on and off since 2011 with this debilitating disease and actually started into digital art as a direct result of walking through the trauma of dealing with this chronic illness.

It is for this reason I am very honored that I was invited to show these three pieces of art at the 5th Annual LymeMIND Virtual Conference on Saturday, October 10, 2020. This will be my second year showing art at this conference. Last year I was blessed to actually attend the conference in person in New York City and show my art. I was thrilled to meet other artists that have also suffered with this disease and connect with like-minded people.

When the conference developers contacted me again this year, I was ecstatic to participate. Due to COVID-19, the conference will be online and the art show will be virtual but it doesn't dampen my enthusiasm to participate in the 5th annual LymeMIND Conference.

Last year the conference organizers asked if I would participate in their "Stories" program and tell my Lyme story to the world. At fist I didn't want to do it. I had slept for only an hour the night before and after watching many of the lectures during the conference, I was feeling very emotional from reliving my ordeal with this disease. But, I wanted to let people know they are not alone. I don't want anyone to suffer in silence and so I got in front of the camera and told my story. Here is my Lyme Story:

If you or anyone you know has Chronic Lyme Disease and would be interested in the 5th Annual LymeMIND Virtual Conference, please check it out-it's free.

These three pieces are for sale. They have not yet been added to the shop, but if you are interested in purchasing them, please contact me through the contact form.

With much love,
